Whether you are brand new to yoga, returning to the mat after some time away, or building upon your established practice, I look forward to working with you on your wellness journey.
Yoga Therapy
Yoga therapy is a complementary and integrative approach to healthcare that can help alleviate or manage the symptoms, experiences, or effects of chronic illness or disease. This holistic method to incorporates aspects of the yoga practice and allows the client to take an active role in their healing. After an initial intake meeting, we will work to find practices that work for you. You will be given a short at-home practice to perform that is tailored to your specific needs which can be adjusted, as needed.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga props you up so you can settle down. Your body is supported with bolsters, blocks, and blankets to allow you to feel relaxed, restored, and renewed. Poses are held for longer periods of time allowing for introspection as focus is turned inward.
Yin Yoga
This slow-paced class focuses on flexibility and breath work. Poses are passive and held for longer periods of time, allowing the body to relax and release. Great for those seeking to maintain or increase flexibility and as a complementary practice to more active forms of yoga and exercise.
Yoga 101
Not sure what yoga is all about? Haven’t exercised in years? Rusty joints?
Come as you are and show your mind, body, and spirit some love. Learn the basic poses of yoga in a low-key, slow moving intro class that is fun and accessible to students of all levels and capabilities.
Beyond The Basics
Designed for those with prior knowledge of basic yoga poses. This class will include an intermediate vinyasa level flow to generate some heat and work on strength and flexibility. Each class will focus on a specific aspect of the practice to challenge students to further explore and refine their experience on the mat.
Prenatal Yoga
Yoga tailored to pregnant people! Classes will focus on connection, breathwork, and movement to help the student adjust to the changes that come with pregnancy. Appropriate for all stages of pregnancy and no previous yoga experience required.
